Pumpkin lattes, pumpkin pie, pumpkin this, pumpkin that. Are you sick of hearing about pumpkin everything yet? I know I am! Here are three fall smoothie recipes I promise you won’t find any pumpkin in:
The Oatmeal Cookie Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 scoops Vanilla VeganSmart
- 2 tablespoons agave nectar
- 2 tablespoons flax meal
- 1/3 cup oats
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon chia seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 frozen banana, peeled and chopped
- 1 1/2 cups vanilla almond milk
Directions: Add ingredients in a blender. Blend or liquify on highest setting for 30 seconds. Add more almond or coconut milk if you desire a thinner consistency.
Almond Joy Cookie Dough Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 1 small banana, cut into chunks and frozen
- 1/4 cup raw oats
- 2 scoops VeganSmart Chocolate
- 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa powder
- 1/8 tsp. almond extract
- 1/2 cup light canned coconut milk (or almond milk)
- optional toppings: shredded coconut and chocolate
Directions: Add all ingredients into blender and blend on high until smooth and creamy. For a thicker consistency, place in the fridge.
Berry Fall Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 1 cup mixed frozen raspberries, cranberries, elderberries
- 2 scoops VeganSmart Chai
- 1 c. apple cider vinegar
- honey or agave syrup to taste
Directions: Add frozen berries to blender and process until smooth adding extra juice if it seems a little too thick.
