What you’ll need:
6 slices day-old bread
1 cup almond milk
1 scoop Love is Love Chocolate Raspberry
2 tablespoons whole wheat flour
1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground nutmeg
tiny pinch of salt
- In a small bowl, whisk together the almond milk, Love is Love Chocolate Raspberry, maple syrup, whole wheat flour, nutritional yeast, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Place one slice of bread in a shallow bowl. Pour the mixture over the bread and flip the bread over so it can be evenly coated. Repeat for all slices of bread.
- In a large skillet over medium, place the coconut oil in the pan and wait for it to heat up. Once the pan is hot, add the bread slices and cook for a few minutes per side, until golden brown.
- Serve with your desired toppings and enjoy.
