The old formula works. Please give it back. We depend on it.
We do apologize but Unfortunately herbal expect with guaifenesin had to be discontinued because Guaifenesin is considered a drug by the FDA and we our a natural product company. The new formula works very well as well and it comes with Ivy Leaf and thyme and a lot of customers like the new formula which has the same great benefits as guaifenesin.
I wish they would bring the old formula with guaifenesin back. It worked really well and didn’t have a bunch of other drugs that I don’t need like most OTC cold medicines nowadays… and the old Naturade Expec formula worked much better than Mucinex for me and my family. Guaifenesin comes from a plant, like a lot of medicines, so it can be considered a natural drug.
Good to know. It hasn’t been on shelves for 2 yrs. That ingredient is in other cough formulas.
Unfortunately all the places I ordered this product from ( vitacost, Amazon) shows the expec as having Guaifenesin. When I received them, they show it’s a new formula and doesn’t have Guaifenesin as one of the ingredients. It does have Ivy leaf and Thyme, which tasted horrible. I’m not sure if they change the ingredients, but all the places that are selling it still shows the old bottle but ships you the new bottle.
Yes, you’re right. However, I didn’t mind the taste and it did work very well on the bronchial cough I had back in January. I was surprised that it worked the same as the original with the Guaifenesin. Unfortunately that seems to be out of stock everywhere I’ve looked.
